Alfred James (Robbie) Robertson was the Athletic Director and Coach of three sports on the Hilltop-baseball, basketball and football. He died in 1948. The Field House was dedicated to the memory of Robertson on December 17, 1949. A statue memorializing Robertson will be placed on campus in appreciation of his 28-year career at Bradley University.
